LA Galaxy mini-plans on sale now

CARSON - The LA Galaxy announced today that fans can now purchase half season and six-game ticket plans for the club's 2008 MLS season. These plans are currently the only way for fans to purchase tickets to multiple Galaxy games this season without buying a season ticket, and offer a significant discount over single game ticket prices.


Fans who order the Big Six, which ranges in price from $75-$420, will receive tickets to the Galaxy's home opener against San Jose on April 3, the first installment of the SuperClasico against inter-city rival Chivas USA on April 26, the May 10 visit of the New York Red Bulls, the Galaxy's annual July 4th fireworks match against New England, an MLS Primetime Thursday meeting with the Chicago Fire on August 21 and the 2008 MLS Cup at The Home Depot Center.


Fans who select the half season plan, which ranges in price from $125-650, will receive tickets to all of the games in the Big Six plan, including the 2008 MLS Cup, as well as the Galaxy's game against the two-time defending MLS Cup champion Houston Dynamo on April 19 and three other matches.


Additionally, fans who purchase either mini-plan will receive the opportunity to purchase tickets for additional games at their discounted rate, the ability to sit in the same seat for all of their selected games and the opportunity to upgrade to full season tickets in 2008 and receive a seat location priority for doing so.


Prices for 2008 Galaxy half season plan, are as follows: Sideline $650, Corner $450, 200 (C) Level $360, Endline $320, General Admission $250 and 200 (W) Level $125.


Prices for 2008 Galaxy six-game plans, are as follows: Sideline $420, Corner $282, 200 (C) Level $228, Endline $204, General Admission $150 and 200 (W) Level $ 75.


In addition to these mini-plans, full season tickets for the Galaxy's 2008 season, which include tickets to all 15 of the club's regular season home matches, as well as a number of special bonus matches, are also on sale now, as are tickets for groups of 15 or more.


The Galaxy opens their 13th season of play on Saturday, March 29 against the Colorado Rapids at 6:30 p.m. (PT), live on Fox Soccer Channel from Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. LA will play their home opener five days later on Thursday, April 3 when they host former head coach Frank Yallop and the San Jose Earthquakes at 7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center.
