Hoffenheim saw their lead at the top of the Bundesliga disappear after a heart-breaking last-gasp defeat by second-placed Bayern Munich.
Vedad Ibisevic put the visitors ahead in the 49th minute but Philipp Lahm equalized 11 minutes later and Luca Toni stole the points in injury time.
Hoffenheim had two good early chances. First Demba Ba shot tamely at Michael Rensing when a square ball to Ibisevic would surely have brought a goal.
Ba then headed a good cross from Chinedu Obasi just past the post.
Bayern responded with a fine opening of their own. Toni rounded Daniel Haas after being played in by Ze Roberto but could only fire wide from a tightening angle.
The Italian then dived dramatically in an effort to win a penalty - the referee was not fooled.
Toni did appear to have a case in the closing minutes of the half when Haas pulled him back after failing to deal with a high ball, but again nothing was given.
To make matters worse for Bayern, Hoffenheim broke the deadlock four minutes into the second half with a well-worked goal.
Massimo Oddo laid the ball into the striker after playing a good one-two with Ba and Ibisevic spun expertly to find the bottom corner from 10 yards out.
Carlos Eduardo nearly made it two but Rensing got down to make a good save at his near post. The keeper then pushed over Obasi in the area in a moment of madness and was lucky to escape with only a yellow card.
Hoffenheim were completely in control but a lapse in concentration allowed Lahm to level on the hour mark.
The full-back was allowed to run and run and his shot from 18 yards took a slight deflection to leave Haas helpless.
Hoffenheim's defense switched off again minutes later but Toni flicked a free header past the far post.
Miroslav Klose had a golden chance to put Bayern ahead late on when he was played clean through but the striker never looked comfortable and pulled a tame shot well wide.
That miss seemed to inspire the visitors again and substitute Sejad Salihovic fired a 25-yard free-kick just over the bar before Rensing pulled off an impressive save from the same player.
Both sides looked to have settled for a point but in the second minute of stoppage time Andreas Ibertsberger inadvertently diverted the ball to Toni in front of goal and the Italian made no mistake.
