Fantasy: Week 29 positional rankings

Goalkeepers

Defenders

With two home games against sides that have been so-so on the road this season (New York Red Bulls, Minnesota United), the Paraguayan will look to pile up points on both ends of the field this week.

Diego Valeri leads all double-game week players with 213 fantasy points on the season. With Portland clinging onto the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, he’s in prime position to shine with a pair of home games in Week 29.

Forwards

Josef Martinez has the highest ceiling of any player on the board this week, and he’s well-positioned to keep his record-breaking 14-game goalscoring streak going. Up first is an FC Cincinnati team that has shipped a league-worst 72 goals before rounding the DGW out against a San Jose side that has allowed nearly three goals per game across their last five road fixtures.
