Rostering the right forward is a key to success in MLS Fantasy. It’s a volatile position that can see your fantasy team boom or bust as the games mount up. Fantasy managers will be forced to decide if it’s worth splashing the cash for the massive upside that Carlos Vela and Josef Martinez carry, or rolling the dice with a salary saver to spend up at other positions.
There’s an influx of new attacking weapons to work with this season, with Mexican superstars Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Alan Pulido topping the list. Both players are high on the fantasy radar and should contribute right away, but it's often best to take a wait-and-see approach as newcomers get acclimated to their new teams.
