Describe your experience in the US camp so far.

"It's been great. I have been able to take a lot from Bob (Bradley) and his coaching staff, as well as guys in my position Jimmy (Conrad) and Chad (Marshall). Overall this has been a great experience."

What have you been able to take from Bob Bradley?

"There are a couple of big things I can take from my time here with him. One main thing is to maintain a standard of quality. It's important to take care of yourself and the team by upholding that high standard. The other thing is more tactical, as he has encouraged me to go forward as much and as quickly as possible."

How is your calf feeling?

"Everything is good, it is definitely better, and I am just trying not to overdo it."

Who have you bonded with most in camp?

"Since Robbie (Findley) and I are roommates and we grew up together, I'm obviously close with him, and we look at each other as brothers. Also, I have really gotten along well with Kyle (Beckerman) and the goalkeeper Nick Rimando. We have all just been hanging out a lot."

What have you been able to do in your downtime in Los Angeles?

"I've just been hanging out a lot with the guys and relaxing when we aren't training. Also, Kyle plays acoustic guitar a lot, and I have always wanted to play. He is actually going with me later today to help me buy one for myself and I'm excited about learning to play."

The Earthquakes open camp next week, what are you looking forward to most about getting back?

"I'm just really excited to see what the year can bring us. I feel really good about the team we have and I am looking forward to 2010."
