Toronto FC star Dwayne De Rosario was helping to raise money in support of Easter Seals kids when he attended the Conn Smythe Sports Celebrities Dinner and Auction at Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Wednesday night. De Ro joined other sporting celebrities for the fundraising event.

Easter Seals began in 1922 with the aim of creating a better life for children and youth with physical disabilities, providing children with essential equipment for mobility and communication and also offering the opportunity to participate in summer camps.

The Conn Smythe Dinner has been running for 57 years and has been attended by many sporting greats including Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, Paul Molitor, Joe Thiesmann, Lennox Lewis and John McEnroe. This year De Rosario was on the head table alongside top Toronto sports personalities including Argos head coach Bart Andrus, Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke, Blue Jays CEO Paul Beeston and pitcher Jesse Litsch.
