Crew English radio broadcasts return to 103.9 TED-FM for a fifth season

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Crew General Manager Mark McCullers, in conjunction with North American Broadcasting Co. CEO Matt Mnich, announced today that 103.9, TED-FM, will once again serve as the English Radio home of the Columbus Crew.

"North American Broadcasting has been a longtime, valued partner with The Crew," said McCullers. "We are proud to call TED-FM our flagship station."

All 32 regular-season Crew games, as well as every Crew playoff match will be broadcast live on 103.9, TED-FM, kicking off this Saturday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. from Crew Stadium with the season opener against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Dwight Burgess, "The Voice of the Crew," will call the action for a 10th successive season, with former Tampa Bay Mutiny broadcaster Jim Henderson also calling some games.

Additionally, the "Crew Minute" will air daily, Monday-Saturday, and began on March 28. Buffalo Wild Wings, Donatos, Huntington, OhioHealth and Pepsi are all presenting sponsors of the "Crew Minute." Webcasts of all Crew games can also be heard on TheCrew.com.

"We are very happy to continue our partnership with TED and The Crew," Mnich said. "We look forward to another great season."

TED- FM plays the best music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today and even some from the 60's. This type of radio format breaks all the rules of traditional broadcasting. It's a great new concept. TED is owned by Columbus-based North American Broadcasting Co., which also owns and operates New Rock, 99.7 The Blitz and AM-920, WMNI.
