The Chicago Fire is participating in a series of community events across the Chicagoland area over the next week. Throughout the year, the Chicago Fire participates in hundreds of community events to work with youth, charities and other organizations to promote the game of soccer by advocating wellness, healthy lifestyle choices, physical activities and education.
This week's events include several appearances from the Chicago Fire's mascot, Sparky. He will be at two Chicagoland sporting events: the Joliet Jackhammer's mascot game and the Chicago Sky mascot game, as well as at Brookfield Zoo for Fire Fridays and the Crestwood Soccer Opening Day parade.

Sparky will be out at Kiddieland this Wednesday. The Fire and Radio Disney are partnering up to bring kids music and prizes to Kiddieland, as well as the opportunity to sign up for the Chicago Fire Kids Club.

Join Sparky for a day of fun, sun, and animals at the Brookfield Zoo this Friday, and take a bounce around in the Chicago Fire inflatable obstacle course.

Who:
Sparky will be riding on a fire truck during the Crestwood Opening Day Parade for the Crestwood Soccer League teams and about 1200 people. After the parade, watch as he helps to judge the contest for the best looking soccer team.

Who:
Sparky, along with other Chicagoland mascots, will be participating in mascot day at the Chicago Sky versus Minnesota Lynx game on Saturday. Sparky will be involved in many activities throughout the game, such as an autograph session, t-shirt toss, mascot dance contest, mascot bowling, and musical chairs.

The Australian-themed waterpark has tube slides that are designed for families to ride together, speed slides, a lazy river, the Great Barrier Reef wavepool, and interactive kiddie areas.
