AMSTERDAM – A few Americans took to the European night lights on Tuesday, with Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu working 84 solid minutes of a 3-0 Champions League loss at Valencia.
The defeat saw 'Gers slip to third in Group C, with Manchester United set to visit Ibrox in three weeks.
Over in England's League One, forward Mike Grella and right back Frank Simek each went the distance as Carlisle United climbed to eighth place with a 2-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers.
