Atlanta United academy director Tony Annan provided a glimpse into that science during a presentation he made at the 2019 Generation adidas Cup, showcasing the Individual Development Program (IDP) that the Five Stripes customized for one of their most coveted young talents: left back George Bello. Today, the 18-year-old Bello is poised to break into the starting lineup for his MLS club.
