2020 MLS Regular Season Week 3
FC Cincinnati vs. D.C. United
Nippert Stadium – Cincinnati
March 14 – 5:30 PM ET

After back-to-back road losses, FC Cincinnati is hoping for some home cooking Saturday when they host D.C. United at Nippert Stadium.

For a second straight week FC Cincinnati (0-2-0) responded from a two-goal deficit, but only to suffer another one-goal defeat, dropping a 2-1 decision at Atlanta United Saturday. Ezequiel Barco scored in the 21st minute and the young Argentine then set up Emerson Hyndman 10 minutes into the second half to double the hosts' advantage. Yuya Kubo opened his MLS account in the 64th minute, but that was as close as FCC would get.

D.C. United (1-1-0) rebounded from a Week 1 home defeat to the Colorado Rapids to knock off Inter Miami CF at Audi Field in Week 2. Rodofo Pizarro put the expansion side in front inside of two minutes, but Yamil Asad leveled from the penalty spot in the 59th minute and Frederic Brillant netted the winner two minutes later.
