There was plenty of international action on Friday, and that included several MLS players seeing playing time around the world.


Minnesota United midfielder Jan Gregus scored a penalty as Slovakia defeated Jordan 5-1 in a friendly in Trnava, Slovakia. Gregus came off the bench at halftime and tallied his goal in the 71st minute in the rout.


In Euro 2020 qualifiers, Guram Kashia (San Jose Earthquakes) featured in defense for Georgia's 3-0 win over Gibraltar in Tbliisi. Georgia are third in Group D through three games.


Aljaz Struna (Houston Dynamo) played the full 90 in Slovenia's 1-0 loss to Austria in Klagenfurt, Austria. Slovenia are fifth of six teams in Group G.


There was MLS representation on both sides in South Korea's 1-0 friendly win over Australia in Busan, South Korea. Inbeom Hwang (Vancouver Whitecaps) played the entire match for the winning side, while Brad Smith (Seattle Sounders) came off the bench in the 77th minute for Australia.


Meanwhile, in the Americas Nicolas Lodeiro (Seattle Sounders) started and played 64 minutes in Uruguay's 3-0 friendly win over Panama. Lodeiro got bragging rights on club teammate Roman Torres, who started and played the full 90, with San Jose Earthquakes duo Harold Cummings and Anibal Godoy also featuring for Los Canaleros.


Justin Meram (Atlanta United) started and played 62 minutes for Iraq in a 2-0 friendly loss against Tunisia in Rades, Tunisia.
