It’s clear Houston Dynamo fans have #CCLFever.
A sizable group made the trip from Texas to Guatemala for their club’s 2019 Concacaf Champions League opener, a 1-0 win against CD Guastatoya on Tuesday night.
The Texian Army and El Batallon Houston made their voices heard in the buildup to the match, as well as inside Estadio Nacional Doroteo Guamuch Flores in Guatemala City.
They loudly and proudly sung “Dale Dynamo,” and erupted when DaMarcus Beasley did this.
Meanwhile in Panama, their team didn’t give them much to cheer about, but Toronto FC fans could clearly be heard on the broadcast singing and chanting at Estadio Agustin Sanchez in La Chorrera.
Well done, Houston and Toronto supporters. New York Red Bulls fans, you’re up next.
