Jeff Larentowicz -- Close Up -- Atlanta United

Atlanta United failed to score in their final tuneup before beginning Concacaf Champions League play, but Jeff Larentowicz's early dismissal in a 0-0 draw with the LA Galaxy on Wednesday suggests the Five Stripes' intensity level is approaching its peak.

The 35-year-old MLS veteran, who will be playing his 15th league campaign, received his second caution shortly before halftime of the scoreless encounter.

Atlanta were allowed to play with 11 men after the break, however, with Anderson Asiedu coming on in Larentowicz's place.

Atlanta begin CCL play on Feb. 21 with Leg 1 of their round-of-16 clash against Herediano in Costa Rica (10 pm ET).
