The people have spoken, and believe that in the Eastern Conference, D.C. United (95 percent) and Columbus Crew SC (91 percent) have the inside track to grab the final two spots, with the Montreal Impact (14 percent) left out in the cold this postseason.
In the Western Conference, meanwhile, the Seattle Sounders (93 percent) and Portland Timbers (92 percent) have a clear mandate from the voters to reach the playoffs, with the LA Galaxy holding the edge (57 percent) for the final slot, besting Real Salt Lake (43 percent) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (15 percent).
