There are bound to be wittier and funnier tweets from MLS players that will ring in 2016. But when Andrea Pirlo is writing messages in the sand, you pay attention.
We obviously have no proof at all that it was Pirlo who traced out this "Happy New Year," but it's impeccable as far as sand writings go. What else would you expect from Pirlo, who is unflappable even on the beach, striking the exact same pose in both photos.
