Costa Rican fans greeted the Mexican national team with a casket

The elation of qualifying directly to the World Cup seems to have already worn off for Costa Ricans.

Ahead of Tuesday night's CONCACAF Hexagonal finale against Mexico (9:30 pm ET, Telemundo), the Ticos have gone from joyful to downright macabre.

As the Mexican national team rolled up to Estadio Nacional for their walkthrough on Monday, the team bus drove past a casket in the colors of the Mexican flag with a plastic cadaver in it.

The Costa Ricans would like nothing more than to hammer the nails into El Tri's coffin with a win on Tuesday night. A loss to the Ticos and Mexico could be eliminated from World Cup qualifying if Panama are also able to beat the US.
