Dominic Oduro's mohawk is currently painted like the flag of Ghana, which is very awesome | SIDELINE

Dominic Oduro's Ghanaian flag hair design

Columbus Crew forward Dominic Oduro wears his Ghanaian pride on his sleeve — almost literally, with a Ghanaian flag wristband — each and every time he steps on the field of play. And now, since last week, he's worn that same pride on the top of his head, too.

Oduro, who has made his only appearance for the Ghanaian national team in 2012, debuted the design last week against the New York Red Bulls and retained the look this week against Toronto FC. The Crew won both games by the score of 2-0, giving themselves at least the faintest of playoff hopes with 10 games left to play in the regular season.

Oh, and another streak running parallel to the "flaghawk," which it will henceforth be named? Federico Higuain making goalkeepers look silly with a pair of ridiciulous chips.
