HOW ACQUIRED: Selected 13th overall by Vancouver in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.

Parker is a center back who quickly made the leap from college to the professional ranks. Starting his rookie season at USL affiliate Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, Parker became the go-to option to close out the season for the first team, and kept that starter's job through most of 2016 as well. He's appeared 44 times with 42 starts in his first two seasons as a pro.

INTERNATIONAL: Parker was called up to the US national team's annual training camp by Jurgen Klinsmann in Jan. 2016.

OUTSIDE MLS: He made seven appearances for WFC2 in USL league play in 2015. Parker also won the 2015 Amway Canadian Championship with Vancouver, and played in the Whitecaps' 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League group stage games.

COLLEGE: Parker played collegiately for St. John's University, playing in 79 of 80 total matches for the Red Storm in his four years there. Was a three-time NSCAA All-Region selection and earned first team All-Big East honors his junior year and second team All-Big East honors his sophomore season. Was also a Big-East All-Rookie selection his freshman year, while helping St. John's win the 2011 Big East Tournament.
