CF Montréal announced in the beginning of the year the signing of French defender Rudy Camacho to a new two-year deal for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

The 2021 Defensive Player of the Year will play a fifth season with the Club. In 2021, Camacho started all 31 matches he featured in, and played 2,746 minutes. In doing so, the 30-year-old led all Montreal defenders in games started.
