Atlanta United's Mo Adams to miss 2-3 months with quadriceps injury
It’s another injury setback for young Atlanta United midfielder Mo Adams, who will be sidelined for two to three months with a quadriceps injury, the club announced Monday night.

An agile and athletic ball-winning defensive midfielder, Adams impressed in his rookie season, earning 10 starts in 15 appearances. After a solid start to his sophomore season, he joined Atlanta in July, 2019. Although primarily a No. 6, Adams has the versatility to play multiple positions for the Five Stripes.
OUTSIDE MLS: Adams came up through the youth ranks at Nottingham Forest before moving to Derby County, where he made 15 appearances for the U-18s. He made one appearance for Boston United in National League North. Adams also played twice for the club's U-21 side. At Syracuse University, Adams earned All-ACC Second Team honors in his freshman year and he was named team captain in 2017.
