Professional Career

2021: Real Salt Lake: Played in 28 matches for RSL during 2021, making 12 starts. Chang notched two goals and two assists in 1,085 minutes played. Chang’s goals came on July 21 against LAG and October 30 against SJ. Chang also featured in two Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoff matches, playing 138 minutes.

2020 Real Salt Lake: Chang made an electrifying debut for Real Salt Lake on August 23, 2020 as a substitute in a 4-1 victory over Colorado in which he scored a goal and recorded two assists. Chang played 1,107 minutes across 19 appearances for RSL in 2020, including a total of one goal and six assists in 12 starts. 

2019 Real Monarchs: Chang played a team-high 3,121 minutes in his second season with Real Monarchs. He led the team with 35 starts in 38 match appearances, recording 15 goals and a team-high eight assists. Chang helped the Monarchs win their first USL Championship title with two goals and two assists in four playoff appearances. Change became the ninth player to make the jump to RSL after first signing with the Monarchs.

2018 Real Monarchs: In his first season with the Monarchs, Chang features in 32 matches, starting 31. Chang scored four goals and led the team in assists with nine. He became the first player in the modern era of the USL Championship to reach 30 career assists.

2017 Charleston Battery: In his final season with the Charleston Battery he scored four goals and assisted 10 times in 2,437 total minutes played – good for the second most minutes on the Battery roster. Chang made 28 starts in 2017 operating on the left side of the midfield.

2016 Charleston Battery: Featured in 31 games for the Charleston Battery making 30 starts, scoring six goals and adding six assists.

2015 Charleston Battery: Scored three goals and added five assists during his third season in Charleston.

2014 Charleston Battery: In his second season, Chang featured in 19 games and tallied two goals and a single assist.

2013 Charleston Battery: Chang made his professional debut for the Charleston Battery on April 21, 2013 as a substitute in a 4-0 victory over Barracuda FC. Chang earned six appearances in his rookie season.
