HOW ACQUIRED: Signed on loan from Motagua on February 24, 2015. Acquired on permanent transfer from Motagua on January 18, 2016.


Flores is a box-to-box midfielder who made nine appearances in MLS league play his debut season with Vancouver, but just one in 2016, his second season. The Honduran international previously played in his domestic league for Motagua and made his senior national team debut in Dec. 2015.

INTERNATIONAL: Made his Honduras senior national team debut Dec. 16, 2015 against Cuba in a 2-0 friendly win. Flores was a regular with the Honduras U-17 and U-20 teams, featuring in CONCACAF Championships at both levels and helping the U-20s qualify for the 2015 U-20 World Cup.

OUTSIDE MLS: Was part of the squad that won the 2014-15 Apertura Honduran Liga Nacional title with Motagua. He played all four group stage games for the Whitecaps in the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League. Also made three appearances for Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 in USL play in 2015.
