INTERNATIONAL: The Venezuelan national, who also holds a Belgium citizenship, has captained Venezuela’s U-20 team and made two appearances in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where the Vinotintos fell 1-0 to England in the final.

OUTSIDE MLS: The left-footed player recently returned to Venezuela in July after being on loan with Juventus for the 2018-19 season. Makoun made 21 appearances for Juventus scoring three goals for the U-23 team, including appearing in 13 regular-season matches along with seven in the UEFA Youth League and one in Copa Italia. Born in Valencia, Carabobo, Makoun joined Zamora F.C. in 2016 and has 35 appearances across all competitions for the First Division, including 22 regular-season matches, nine in COPA Venezuela as well as a pair in both COPA Libertadores and COPA Sudamericana.
