Arquimides “Quimi” Ordoñez signed as the club’s second-ever Homegrown Player on July 3, 2021. Ordonez joined the FC Cincinnati Academy in the program’s inaugural 2019-20 season, previously spending time with Kings Hammer Academy and Cincinnati United Premier.

2022 (FC Cincinnati): Appeared in eight games, totaling 85 minutes … made his season debut on April 24 vs. LAFC, coming on as a substitute deep into the match … recorded a career-high three shots on his first career shot on target on July 17 at Columbus … With FC Cincinnati 2 in MLS NEXT Pro, appeared in 13 games, all starts, where he scored four goals and added one assist … scored the game-winner in the club’s first home match against Toronto FC II on April 3 in the 2-1 win.
