Career Summary

Aimé Mabika was selected by Inter Miami from the University of Kentucky with its 26th overall pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. He then signed for Fort Lauderdale CF ahead of the 2021 season, going on to make 14 appearances, all starts, playing 1,260 minutes and captaining the side for much of the campaign. In his first campaign at the Club, the physically-imposing center back also made MLS appearances for Inter Miami on short-term loans through Extreme Hardship, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in a narrow 1-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls and a historic 5-1 victory over FC Cincinnati. In his first season as a First Team player in 2022, the defender made a total 16 MLS appearances, 14 of them starts, including starting in the team’s Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs fixture.

Away from the pitch, Mabika has been a fixture in the community, helping drive Inter Miami’s outreach efforts. Away from the pitch, Mabika is heavily invested in helping others and partakes in many of the Club’s initiatives that benefit the community, while also being a big fashion guy; in November 2022 the defender featured as a 2022 Fort Lauderdale Illustrated Men of Style.
