Career Summary

Mutually agreed to part ways with Vancouver on July 18, 2017.

Tornaghi is a veteran backup goalkeeper in MLS, having served the role for multiple seasons for the Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps. Although Tornaghi has not gotten many minutes on the MLS front, he has played for his teams in cup competitions.

INTERNATIONAL: Was an Italian youth international, and played at the 2005 U-17 World Championship.

OUTSIDE MLS: Was formerly an Inter Milan youth player, and played in the Italian leagues for Como and Rimini before coming to MLS. Played in the 2015 Amway Canadian Championship for Vancouver, helping the team win that competition for the first time, and also featured for the Whitecaps in the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League group stage. Previously played in the US Open Cup with Chicago.

NOTES: Was named Whitecaps' 2015 Humanitarian of the Year.
