Career Summary

Woodbury native Brent Kallman has spent his entire professional career with Minnesota since first joining the club in 2013. With his signing in January 2017, he became the first Minnesotan to join the Loons in MLS. Throughout six MLS seasons with MNUFC, Kallman has 112 game appearances across all competitions, tallying 96 starts, six goals and one assist.

The central defender has taken on a tremendous amount of leadership throughout his time with MNUFC. His height is a huge asset on both ends of the pitch, clearing lofted balls out of the MNUFC penalty area and nodding crosses into the opponent’s net.

Kallman was loaned briefly to El Paso FC before returning to Minnesota to provide much-needed depth in the backline as the Loons advanced to the Western Conference Final of the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs.

Kallman and his partner Jenna have a son, Briggs, and are expecting their second child in 2023.
