The US men’s national team will reportedly return to action with friendlies against Wales and Australia in London next month, although the plans have yet to be finalized.

Steven Goff of The Washington Post reported Monday that USMNT defender Sergino Dest said the team will be playing the friendlies in London, although Goff also reported the USSF told him those dates aren't set in stone. Goff had previously reported the USMNT was planning to play at Wales and another match at a UK venue in November.

One date that has been set is March 30, when the US will meet Wales in an international friendly in Cardiff (2:30 pm ET | FS1, UniMás, TUDN)  as the second match of its European tour, U.S. Soccer announced last week.

That match will come four days after the USMNT takes on the Netherlands in Eindhoven.

Coached by Ryan Giggs, Wales are tied with the USMNT at No. 22 in the current FIFA rankings. They are using the match to prepare for the 2020 UEFA Championship, having been drawn into Group A with Italy, Switzerland and Turkey.

For the US, the friendly is the final tune-up before a Concacaf Nations League semifinal against Honduras in June.

"One of the important parts of continuing to develop this group is the opportunity to play against high-level opponents away from home," USMNT coach Gregg Berhalter said in a statement. "The Netherlands is a soccer powerhouse featuring some of the world's best talent. This game will be a good chance to compete as we build toward important competitions in the summer and fall.”
