Major League Soccer returned to the 2020 regular season in local markets following a long layoff, and the individual performances were worth waiting for.

The Week 6 Team of the Week presented by Audi features no fewer than four multiple-goal performances, with Pablo Piatti, Raul Ruidiaz and Pity Martinez all earning first-team honors after striking for a brace in one of their respective Week 6 matches. And spare a thought for Miami striker Julian Carranza, who scored twice to lift his expansion club to their first-ever victory, yet could only manage a spot on the bench of this hard-to-crack 18-man roster. Such is the life of a striker.

At the other end of the field, there were several noteworthy goalkeeping performances, but Matt Turner took the nod ahead of Dallas' Jimmy Maurer. Seattle's Stefan Frei also merited honorable mention consideration in one of several hard decisions all around.

Team of the Week (3-5-2, right to left):Matt Turner (NE) - Kyle Duncan (RBNY), Matt Hedges (DAL), Henry Kessler (NE) - Julian Araujo (LA), Maikel Chang (RSL), Darlington Nagbe (CLB), Pity Martinez (ATL), Cristian Pavon (LA) - Raul Ruidiaz (SEA), Pablo Piatti (TOR)

Coach: Freddy Juarez (RSL)
