Real Salt Lake came into their game against the Philadelphia Union having not won in more than a month. They ended that drought at Talen Energy Stadium, beating the Union 2-1.
RSL relied on two of their attacking stars on Sunday night, as Joao Plata and Javier Morales provided the goals, both in spectacular fashion.
Plata curled a beautiful ball off the crossbar and into the net at the start of the second half with his team down. Morales floated one of his own over Andre Blake just six minutes later to give his team the lead.
Roland Alberg scored the Union's lone goal, putting away a penalty kick after Aaron Maund pulled down C.J. Sapong in the box.

Three Things
LEAKY AT THE BACK: Vincent Nogueira was a key cog in the Union's midfield during his entire stay in Philadelphia. Since his departure in June, the Union have had some trouble slowing down opponent attacks.
They'll have to right the ship soon if they hope to make the playoffs for the first time since 2011.
