Laurent Ciman - Belgium - Juggles pregame

Belgium hosted Mexico in a friendly on Friday that could have 2018 World Cup implications, with the teams drawing 3-3 in an entertaining match in Brussels.

Each team featured a player with a brace, as Romelu Lukaku notched two goals for Belgium and Hirving Lozano two for Mexico, with Eden Hazard and Andres Guardado scoring the other goals on the day.

For Belgium, Laurent Ciman (Montreal Impact) started and played the full 90 minutes. He did concede a penalty shortly before halftime, which Guardado converted to make it 1-1 heading into the break.

LA Galaxy brothers Giovani and Jonathan dos Santos did not start for Mexico, although Giovani came off the bench in the 59th minute for future LAFC striker Carlos Vela, who started for El Tri. Jonathan was a late substitute in the match, entering in the 89th minute.

Both Belgium and Mexico have booked their spots for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and are expected to reach the knockout stages, at the very least.
