Josef Martinez, Carlos Vela and Chris Wondolowski among USA Today's all-time MLS greats

Chris Wondolowski - Josef Martinez - All-Star

In honor of MLS' 25th season, JIm Reineking of USA Today has ranked the league's top 25 players of all-time. So where do some of the league's biggest stars today fit?

LAFC's Carlos Vela is 18th on the list, a pretty big accomplishment considering the Mexican attacker is only beginning his third season in the league. Meanwhile, Josef Martinez's ACL injury didn't keep him from placing 13th after a historically productive first three seasons in MLS.

As for San Jose Earthquakes forward and all-time leading MLS goal scorer Chris Wondolowski? He sits second on the list, behind only MLS MVP namesake Landon Donovan.

There's one other current MLS player in the Top 10 and two more active players (plus one opinionated American broadcaster and one famous French head coach) in the Top 25. Curious who those are? Check out the full list.
