Independent review panel rescinds fine, suspension for red card on Houston Dynamo's Jermaine Taylor

The Independent Review Panel has rescinded the fine and one-game suspension of Houston Dynamo midfielder Jermaine Taylor for his red card issued in the 77th minute of the April 25 game against Sporting Kansas City (video above).

The Houston Dynamo submitted an appeal for review of the play, and the appeal was unanimously upheld by the review panel.

As a result, Taylor will be available for the team’s next match against FC Dallas on May 1 at BBVA Compass Stadium (8 pm ET, Univision Deportes).

The independent review panel consists of one representative from the US Soccer Federation, Canadian Soccer Association and Professional Referees Organization (PRO).
