The U.S. Soccer Federation runs the Best of U.S. Soccer Awards each year, highlighting outstanding achievement in the soccer community in 12 unique categories. Hillcrest Road is the lone blog run by an MLS team named a 2009 finalist for Best Soccer Blog. Fans can vote for their favorite soccer blog once per day through Dec. 13 here through USSoccer.com. Soccer Insider captured the inaugural honor, with Soccer by Ives winning in 2008.
