Ecuador will have a strong MLS influence, with four players from the league named to La Tricolor's Copa America squad.
Carlos Gruezo, Xavier Arreaga, Romario Ibarra and Sebastian Mendez have been called in alongside the likes of Manchester United star Antonio Valencia. Ecuador is part of Group C with Uruguay, Japan and Chile.
Gruezo, an FC Dallas midfielder with 22 caps, has the most international experience of the bunch. Arreaga, Seattle Sounders' new defender, made his Ecuador debut in November. Ibarra features up top for Minnesota United, while Mendez is in the heart of Orlando City's midfield.
The 2019 Copa America runs from June 14 to July 7.
