AMSTERDAM – Brad Guzan and Aston Villa will look to continue their sterling start to the Premier League season when a wounded Arsenal come to town this weekend.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
Jozy Altidore – Sunderland at Burnley (Saturday, 10 am on Premier League Extra Time)
The US striker will likely start from the bench again as winless Sunderland head to Turf Moor. Altidore has an assist in two career outings against the Clarets. The Black Cats have not visited Burnley since 2009. It is a place they have traditionally struggled, but they have managed an even 3-3-2 split from the last eight trips there.
Brad Guzan – Aston Villa vs. Arsenal (Saturday, 10 am on NBCSN/Mun2)
Good luck to the Gunners, who go from their midweek dismantling at Borussia Dortmund to facing the hottest netminder out of the EPL gate. Guzan has conceded just once in four games for unbeaten Villa to hold second place. He also posted his only win in five tries against Arsenal in last season's first meeting. Another good omen for the American? He won't have to face the injured Olivier Giroud, who scored in both league clashes between the two last season.
Tim Howard – Everton vs. Crystal Palace (Sunday, 11 am on Premier League Extra Time)
Fresh off a star display in Thursday's Europa League win at Wolfsburg, Howard will look to correct form at Goodison Park, where he's won but once in the last five EPL matches. One of those home failures was a 3-2 loss against the Eagles late last season. Prior to that, the American was not scored upon in three career meetings. It wasn't the strangest result, anyway; the Toffees are only 2-3-2 in their last seven home games with Palace.
GERMAN BUNDESLIGA
Julian Green – Hamburg vs. Bayern Munich (Saturday, 9:30 am on GolTV)
It is unclear whether or not Green will keep a starting place when his parent club pay a visit. Basement side Hamburg, who have yet to score in three games this season, are probably not looking forward to seeing Bayern in this moment. The champs have won five straight against HSV by a combined 24-4 tally. Furthermore, the hosts' long injury list still includes skipper Rafael van der Vaart. At least they won't have to face injured FC Hollywood star Franck Ribéry, who career totals of four goals and six assists from this matchup.
Fabian Johnson – BorussiaMönchengladbach at FC Cologne (Sunday, 11:30 am on GolTV)
Your guess is as good as ours with regards to what station Johnson might take up in this home derby with the arch rivals. The Foals are unbeaten in seven games across all competition on the campaign, and have outscored their nemesis 20-4 in compiling a similar bulletproof streak (5-0-2) in this Bundesliga series. Mönchengladbach have also not lost in this away fixture since 2005, a span of five games. The hosts will be missing returning top scorer Patrick Helmes, who has five career strikes against 'Gladbach.
