Weston McKennie - September 20, 2020

Weston McKennie already made history when he signed with Juventus. On Sunday, in his third Serie A start, the US men’s national team midfielder picked up his first point  for his new club.

McKennie, who played 15 minutes off the bench in a 2-0 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League Wednesday in his first appearance since testing positive for COVID-19, was back in Andrea Pirlo’s starting XI Sunday for a 4-1 win over Spezia Calcio.

The former FC Dallas academy product set up Alvaro Morata’s opening goal in the 14th minute, unselfishly passing up his first goal to set up the Spanish striker.
