Major League Soccer COVID-19 Testing Update – October 16, 2020

(October 16, 2020) – Major League Soccer today provided an update on the results of COVID-19 testing for players, coaches, and staff throughout the league from Oct. 8-14.
MLS will be providing regular updates with aggregated COVID-19 testing results throughout the season.

- The number of samples collected and tested was 6,575 from 1,474 individuals between Oct. 8-14.
- There were seven new confirmed positive cases among players and three new positive cases among staff members.
