In a rematch of a Week 1 showdown at CenturyLink Field, Chicago Fire FC and the Seattle Sounders face off in Group B July 14.
The Sounders came from behind to win that game thanks to a second-half brace by Jordan Morris after Robert Beric put the visitors in front. The reigning MLS Cup champions fell behind again in Week 2, but rallied to draw Columbus Crew SC with Raul Ruidiaz scoring the 79th-minute equalizer.
The rebranded and new-look Fire FC also came from behind to share the points against the New England Revolution in Week 2 with veteran Jonathan Bornstein canceling out Adam Buksa's opening goal in the 1-1 draw.
