MLS Cup lineup news: Toronto FC gives Gonzalez start, Altidore makes bench

Jozy Altidore – Toronto FC – disgruntled look

2019 MLS Cup lineups are out and Jozy Altidore is in Toronto FC's matchday squad for the first time this postseason.

Altidore is on the bench while Omar Gonzalez, who also has yet to play a minute during this postseason, is in the starting XI. Laurent Ciman is on the bench to make room for Gonzalez.

Altidore picked up a quad injury on Decision Day presented by AT&T and trained for the first time since on Friday. Gonzalez had made the bench in Toronto's previous two wins, though was an unused substitute in each.

As for the Seattle Sounders, they also made a change in defense.

Roman Torres is back in the starting XI in place of Xavier Arreaga, who started his side's win over LAFC. He's on the bench. Nico Lodeiro, Raul Ruidiaz and Jordan Morris lead Seattle's attack as expected.
