The Montreal Impact didn’t get a win this weekend but they did set a record — one they had to themselves for all of one day.

The Impact committed just one foul in their 2-1 loss to the LA Galaxy on Saturday, setting the mark for the fewest in league history.

Remarkably, the very next day, Minnesota United also finished a game with only one foul in their scoreless draw with Portland

Before this weekend, four teams shared the MLS record with only two fouls in a game: FC Dallas and the Chicago Fire in 2009, Colorado in 2011, and, most recently, the LA Galaxy in 2013.
