Minnesota United return from the Gold Cup break looking to snap a three-match losing streak when they host an FC Cincinnati side that has dropped five in a row and 10 of their last 11 Saturday afternoon.

The Loons (6-7-3) will hope to be buoyed by a come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Houston Dynamo in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 June 18 at BBVA Stadium. Ronaldo Peña and Tomas Martinez gave the defending USOC champions a two-goal lead after 37 minutes, but Darwin Quintero leveled with a second-half brace and Mason Toye scored the 89th-minute winner for Minnesota.

FC Cincinnati (3-12-2) are coming off a 2-0 loss to the LA Galaxy in front of a sellout crowd at Nippert Stadium last Saturday. Emmanuel Boateng and Favio Alvarez scored a pair of goals in a three-minute span inside the opening 15 minutes as the expansion side has now conceded 17 goals over their last five games — all losses.
