FC Dallas hope to extend an all-time unbeaten streak against Toronto FC at Toyota Stadium to 10 games and rebound from a U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 defeat when the teams square off Saturday night in Frisco.

FC Dallas (6-6-4) joined the Colorado Rapids as the second MLS team Cupset by New Mexico United of the USL Championship, losing 2-1 at Southern Methodist University Wednesday night. Brandon Servania opened the scoring for the hosts with a banger four minutes from halftime, but New Mexico United leveled through Kevaughn Frater right before the break and Sam Hamilton scored the eventual winner in the 64th minute.

With their defense of their Canadian Championship title yet to start, Toronto FC (5-6-4) return after a 15-day layoff since rallying for a 2-2 draw with Sporting Kansas City at BMO Field. The Reds twice rebounded from Felipe Gutierrez penalty kicks, first through Nick DeLeon two minutes from halftime and then when Jordan Hamilton equalized in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time.
