LAFC look to remain atop the Supporters' Shield standings and extend an unbeaten streak at Banc of California Stadium to eight games when they face a Montreal Impact squad in search of a league-leading fifth away win Friday night.

LAFC (9-1-4) extended their undefeated run to six games with a 1-1 draw against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium Sunday. Carlos Vela, who was earlier denied from the penalty spot by Jesse Gonzalez, leveled 10 minutes from full time with his second PK attempt, canceling out Ryan Hollingshead's first-half goal.

Montreal (6-5-3) welcomed back Ignacio Piatti after a two-month injury absence, but couldn't find a decisive goal in a 0-0 draw against the New England Revolution Saturday at Stade Saputo. Maxi Urruti was the closest to breaking the scoreless stalemate, but his chip was cleared off the line by Jalil Anibaba.
