MLS Disciplinary Committee fines two players after Week 6

Following Week 6 of the 2019 MLS regular season, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined two players.


Taider simulation/embellishment


The Disciplinary Committee has found Montreal Impact midfielder Saphir Taider guilty of simulation/embellishment. Taider has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 40th minute of Montreal’s match against New York City FC on April 6.

Ruan simulation/embellishment


The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Orlando City SC defender Ruan guilty of simulation/embellishment. Ruan has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 78th minute of Orlando’s match against the Colorado Rapids on April 6.
