US national team coach Gregg Berhalter opts for seven changes vs. Chile

Christian Pulisic, DeAndre Yedlin - US national team - high five

After a 1-0 win against Ecuador, US men's national team head coach Gregg Berhalter opted to make seven changes to his starting XI vs. Chile on Tuesday night.

We already knew Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie would not be taking part in the friendly after leaving camp. The five players who will be on the bench against Chile after starting on Thursday night are Sean Johnson, Aaron Long, John Brooks, Jordan Morris and Wil Trapp.

The seven new players new to the XI are Ethan Horvath, Matt Miazga, Omar Gonzalez, DeAndre Yedlin, Michael Bradley, Corey Baird and Cristian Roldan. The most interesting insertion could be Yedlin, who will likely be asked to fill in as a hybrid right back-center midfielder role in Berhalter's system.
