FC Cincinnati announced on Monday they have added more than 1,000 new season ticket accounts for the 2019 season, which will push their season ticket base to nearly 25,000 for their inaugural MLS campaign.

The expansion team will play their games next season at Nippert Stadium, on the campus of the University of Cincinnati, before moving to their new stadium once construction is complete, in the West End of the city.

“We expect a very high renewal rate as Cincinnati prepares to join MLS and our fans establish priority for selection when we open our new stadium in 2021. We strongly believe we’ll have a season ticket base that pushes close to 25,000 at Nippert Stadium next year,” Jeff Smith, Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service, said in a team statement.

FC Cincinnati have already started constructing their roster for next year, bringing in forward Fanendo Adi and midfielder Fatai Alashe last week.
