MLS SuperDraft

MLS SuperDraft concludes with combined 35 selections in Rounds 3 and 4

NEW YORK (Sunday, January 21, 2018) – The third and fourth rounds of MLS SuperDraft 2018 presented by adidas took place via teleconference Sunday afternoon, as all 23 clubs ultimately added reinforcements to their respective rosters heading into the season. The first two rounds of the MLS SuperDraft were held two days earlier at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

D.C. United, the Montreal Impact, Philadelphia Union and Portland Timbers – who did not have selections in Friday’s first two rounds – each had selections Sunday, with three of Portland’s four picks taking place in the third round.

This year’s draft featured four players selected respectively from each of the following programs: the University of Akron, the University of Virginia and the University of Wisconsin.
