The Colorado Rapids appear to be in the market for another striker, and one target could be Romanian international Claudiu Keseru, according to Metro US's Kristian Dyer.

Keseru currently plays his club football with Bulgarian side Ludogorets, where he was the league's top scorer with 22 goals during the 2016-17 campaign. Internationally, the 31-year-old has scored six goals in 23 appearances for Romania, including three during 13 appearances in qualifiers for either the World Cup or European Championships.

Colorado are expected to take a more attack-minded approach under new coach Anthony Hudson, and would stand to need more striking depth if they go ahead with an expected switch to a 3-5-2 formation this year.

Keseru spent a sizable chunk of his early pro career in the first and second divisions in France before stints at Steaua Bucharest in his native Romania and Al-Gharafa in Qatar. He's seen action in UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches both at Steaua and with Ludogorets since his move to Bulgaria before the 2015-16 season.
